Mr. Keyhani was born in Iran in 1954 and is a Canadian Citizen living in Toronto. It was during his years as a secondary school student that he was encouraged by one of his teachers to pursue his artistic talents. As a result, he became devoted to his passion of painting.
After receiving a diploma in biology and anatomy, Mr. Keyhani studied art at Tehran and Dusseldorf Universities. Upon completion of these studies, he spent seven years traveling in Germany and France, all the while developing his technique and style. It is typical of Mostafa’s paintings to convey the lively spirit of street scenes, scenic landscapes, waterways, architecture and the beauty of floral still lives. The more he trusts his spontaneity his brilliance with color and energetic compositions enchant the viewer.
The award winning artists paintings and editorials have appeared in art publications and magazines world wide. Keyhani’s p paintings are featured in galleries in Munich, Dusseldorf, Paris, Cannes, Canada and the United States. His painting are in numerous important collections in France, Germany, the United States and Canada, where his work is on display in the permanent collection of the Canadian Parliament Building and the permanent collection of St. Michael’s College, Colchester, Vermont.
Keyhani is a member of the Salmagundi Club, OPA, Tucson Plein Air Club and the LPAPA.
